The Motonautica Vesuviana was created in 1994 from the passion that its founder, engineer Vincenzo Nappo, has for the sea and for pneumatic boats. The experience gained in years of navigation and practice of nautical camping, become the launching trampoline for the conception of a boat that embodies the best responses to the needs of enthusiasts. Thus in 1998, the first prototype was designed and built, the MV 700 which immediately stood out for its functionality and excellent qualities for the navigation.
The philosophy pursued by Motonautica Vesuviana, today Mv Marine, has been, from the beginning, the design and implementation of the entire production cycle within the company, ranging from design, to models, to molds, to manufactured articles in VTR, to the rubber parts, to finish with the upholstery. Always improving the construction processes while maintaining high quality standards.
This philosophy has allowed the MV to acquire a know-how that spans multiple sectors, from the design of high-performance 3D CAD-CAM hulls, to the lamination of composite materials, made in Infusion and RTM, to the plants etc.
Thanks to the combination of all this knowledge acquired over the years, the MV technical department designs and manufactures beautiful and functional boats, which can weigh up to 30% less than the average, reducing consumption and emissions, to the advantage of operating costs and environment. Strengthened by the passion, by the knowledge acquired and not least by the enthusiasm of the customers, the MV is tracing a new route in the way of conceiving the dinghy of the future.
Design: sober and elegant, that never goes out of style
Every detail is designed to be used to the fullest. Ample space on board, large easily accessible lockers, bow and stern sundecks to accommodate many people on board, easy to change the layout of spaces with simple movements. The decentralized console of the Comfort line, with the integrated fridge, allows you to have a very livable cockpit, where you move freely both while sailing and at anchor. The dinette in the bow and stern of the GT (Gran Turismo) line offer the largest number of seats in the category and at the same time ample sunbathing surfaces thanks to the modularity of the deck. For all the boats a careful ergonomic study is carried out, rationalizing the spaces and the dimensions of the deck components so as to make navigation both comfortable for those at the helm and for the passengers.
All MV boats are static self-emptying.
Only high quality materials are used
Neopentyl gelcoat that maintains clarity and brilliance over time, the cushions are closed-cell covered with stain-resistant sky, the lockers assisted by gas actuators that prevent dangerous accidental closures even during navigation, the accessories and the valuable stainless steel parts are made on project of the construction site, the Teak is of the highest quality built-in and shows the logo of the construction site, the lids of the lockers, the formworks and consoles are finished with polished gelcoat internally and externally, the systems are designed to last over time, the fabric of the tubulars used is the Orc of Pennell & Flipo.
The quality of the Navigation
The hulls of the MV are appreciated for the quality of navigation, soft and always dry in all sea conditions. They are designed to achieve excellent performance and reduce consumption.
Technology & consumption
The use of modern construction technologies and the investment in highly qualified human resources.
The primary commitment of MV has always been to build high quality inflatable boats, using cutting-edge construction techniques, derived from the automotive and aerospace sectors, these choices pay off over time.
Reduced consumption and emissions and respect for the environment.
The study and experimentation of water lines, carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Naval Engineering, of the Federico II University of Naples and the long experience gained in many extreme raids and no less for the lightness of our products, make inflatable boats of the MV among the most thrifty in consumption.
The build quality, the excellent materials and accessories used in MV dinghies, allow you to have durability over time and save for the cost of maintenance. From the analysis on used boats, it has emerged with good approximation that every year, to keep the boat in full efficiency and safety, there is a saving on maintenance costs for MV boat owners: € 800 per year.
In addition, the MV boats maintain a high market value of used cars, as it is a brand much appreciated by rubber dinghies. More than 20% is recovered on average compared to competitive products.
The Shipyard, aware of the growing risk of theft of inflatable boats, started a new project in 2012 to protect MV Marine brand customers. In all MV Marine dinghies, during the lamination of the fiberglass, microchips drowned appropriately programmed with the registration number of the boat.
This passive protection system does not require power supply and it is immovable from the boat. Through a specific scanner, Mv Marine is always able to identify unequivocally the original registration number of the boat. In this way, the serial numbers imposed by European legislation cannot be falsified as it is the case with traditional metal identification plates.
